LIC Engineering specializes in the compact & high power Liquid-cooled high voltage power supply & CO2 laser power supplies. Its Super Pulse and Ballast less technologies are the original development by an LIC engineer in the early 1980s for the CO2 surgical laser systems.

High Efficiency: Up to 97%
Ballast-less CO2 Laser Operation: No ballast resistors are required for CO2 laser tube/resonator.  Its compact high voltage power supply can be used for many variety of applications.
Super Pulse:
The peak output power reaches to 10 times higher than CW power in some case.  The high pulsed CO2 laser power supply is used for many medical applications as well as industrial applications. Series Resonant Topology: Since the first product was developed in early 1980s, LIC Engineering’s switch-mode CO2 laser power supply has used the series resonant topology, which make a switching current "sinusoidal", or ”zero-current switching” to make the switching loss minimal and is able to push a very high current into the secondary circuit in very short time.  This sinusoidal switching, or zero-current switching technology makes Lic’s products high efficient (up to 98.6%), high power but compact, and reliable CO2 laser power supply.
Unique Core Design: The output transformers are very thin, which helps the heat conduction effectively to the water channel and keeps the H.V components operating temperature low.  This results in the highly reliable and the most thin & compact switch-mode high power CO2 laser power supply.
AZCS (Auto-Zero-Current Switching): AZCS (used for CSF-25000-series) enables  IGBT to switch at almost zero current over the entire operating range. When AC voltage, or load impedance is changed, the AZCS automatically finds an optimum operating condition.

This system is designed for an ultra stable CO2 laser with very low ripple current.
